Measurements, storage & food safety

Spoon means your usual eating spoon, filled level, not heaped. It is not a standard measuring tablespoon; use the same spoon and adjust salty sauces at the end. Cup means a small 180ml cup here.

Meat amounts are raw weights. Rice is weighed cooked; rice noodles are weighed dry. Drain packaged tofu before weighing, then squeeze further when instructed. Serving amounts scale; cooking temperatures and cooking times do not.

Calories and protein are approximate development estimates from our recipe planning, not lab-tested or automatically recalculated. Actual products, meat cuts, spoon sizes and portions change the result. These are individual meals, not a complete daily calorie prescription.

Check ingredient labels: no pork, and no fish other than bangus. For these recipes use stock and condiments without fish extracts.

Use a thermometer: chicken 74 C; ground beef 71 C; whole-cut beef 63 C plus a 3-minute rest; fish 63 C; egg dishes 71 C; leftovers 74 C. Cook eggs until whites and yolks are firm.

Refrigerate promptly in shallow containers. Do not keep a whole week's cooked food in the fridge; freeze later portions. See official storage guidance for your food.
